And to what avail, if there are still many users with visual impairment not comfortable with touch screen control? “We are aware” responds Roman Martinovič, Corvus applications chief designer whose team has attempted to make smart phones available to the blind and partially sighted since 2013, and continues “that our users are capable of miracles, still we understand this type of handling can be an unprecedented obstacle for many.” This is one of the reasons why Corvus designers have introduced a simple but resistant smart phone, the Corvus RG160, which integrates the pros of modern smart phones combined with secure control by means of a standard, well-palpable keyboard, supplemented by the popular Corvus applications set.
